View Controls

The View Controls panel is made available by right clicking in the image window and selecting View Controls. These controls give you explicit control over axis endpoints. Just like the header viewer and editor, you can grab the grip at the top of the View Controls and drag them out to form a standalone control dialog, so that you do not use up the extra display space with the controls. Also like the header, you can right click in view controls to add/remove individual control items.

A related option is Ganged View Controls, under View on the main drop down menu. Whenever this option is checked, all the view controls will be applied to all open file windows. This works for the actual view controls (zoom in/out, slide left/right/up/down, etc.), and the subfile controls (next, previous, etc.). In ganged mode the cursor readout is also ganged.
