Live Display

Both igrams and raw uncalibrated spectra can be viewed in a live display window.

For live spectra, no attempt is made to calculate or correct for the DC offset. Instead, the DC component of the spectra is zeroed out so that the plotting scale is not thrown off. Also, no attempt is made to find true ZPD. Instead, ZPD is always assumed to be exactly in the middle of the igram. The apodization method used is determined by that currently specified on the Compute Spectrum control panel. Note that the current implementation does not shorten the input igram. What you see is full spectral resolution spectra for the input raw igram. Only the forward igrams are plotted.(1)

(1)Unless you are in the Reverse acquisition direction mode, in which case spectra for reverse direction igrams are computed and plotted.
