Annotation Spreadsheet

In addition to being stored in the Grams/SPC header, the annotation data collected by Edgar from the Ionetrics Annotator can also be stored in a spreadsheet (Excel format). The exact parameters to store in the spreadsheet can be set in the Preferences editor. The default setup is to record scan number, scan direction, scan size, ZPD location, year, day, time of day, detector A name, channel A gain, channel A peak-to-peak signal, detector B name, channel B gain, and channel B peak-to-peak signal. If an Edgar controlled blackbody is connected, then the blackbody settings are also recorded.(1) A portion of a sample annotation spreadsheet is shown below.

(1) The blackbody readings are updated every 2 seconds, but written into the spreadsheet with every scan.
